A little about our company ...

Steve Patterson launched Inner Space Designs, Inc. in 1991.  Back then it was a sole proprietorship and Steve was the only employee.  Today Inner Space Designs, Inc. boasts increases of 900% in manpower, 300% in shop space and 700% in revenues.  Prior to coming to San Diego County in 1979, Steve worked as a carpenter’s helper while his father was stationed in Germany.  It was there he realized his passion for woodworking.  His apprenticeship continued for the next 12 years in San Diego County. It was then the opportunity arose to start Inner Space Designs, Inc.  And so the technician became the entrepreneur all the while relishing the unexpected yet exciting challenges of being a small business owner.  As all small businesses begin, there were long days and nights, plenty of struggles and a few disappointments along the way.  It was from these humble beginnings Inner Space Designs, Inc.’s basic business philosophy,  “Commitment to excellence through service” came to be.  Today Inner Space Designs, Inc. enjoys this commitment from all departments, with employees asking themselves, “How can we be better today than yesterday?”  Because of this, our clients can be assured of a quality experience.
